Welcome to the help page for Set Manager 3. If you can not find answers to your questions on this page, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
When you click on a card, a window pops up with various bits of information, including the Card Id number. Simply note down the Card Id and the minion at the front desk can pull the card for you.
In the upper right corner are the main filters.
Setting the All/Available toggle to "All" will show every card ever published. Setting it to "Available" will show the cards that are for sale at the store.
When the "-Foil" button is selected, all Foil cards are removed.
When the +Hot button is selected, the current "Hot" cards are displayed.
Cards can also be sorted Alphabetically, by Price, and by Casting Cost.
If your search comes up empty, double check the All/Available, -Foil and +Hot filters.
Pressing the button will bring up the Simple Search box. With it, you can search for any non-flavor text on the cards. This includes name, type and subtype.
From the Simple Search box, you can access the Advanced Search box. Like the Simple Search box, you can search any of the non-flavor text. You can also specify further criteria from the various Selection Boxes.
There are three types of Selection Boxes: Single Choice, Multi-Choice, and Modified Multi-Choice.
Single Choices selection boxes allow you choice a single option. For example, Casting Cost is a Single Choice box.
Multi-Choice boxes allow you to select multiple options. For example, the Sets Multi-Choice box allows you to specify which Sets to search.
Modified Multi-Choice allow you to select multiple options with a further modifier: "Any of", "At Least", and "Only".
"Any of" is short for "Any of the following". Set Manager will find all cards that match any of the items selected. For example, if you select Black and Blue for colors, Set Manager will return all cards that have Black or Blue as part of the casting cost. This includes Red/Blue, Red/Black, Blue/Black, etc...
"At Least" is short for "At Least the following". Set Manager will find all cards that match all of the items selected. For example, if you select Black and Blue for colors, Set Manager will return all cards that have Black and Blue as part of the casting cost. This includes Red/Blue/Black, Blue/Black, White/Blue/Black, etc...
"Only" is short for "Only the following". Set Manager will find all cards that match only the items selected. For example, if you select Black and Blue for colors, Set Manager will return all cards that only have Black and Blue as part of the casting cost (plus colorless). It will not include Red/Blue/Black, White/Blue/Black, Red/Blue/Black, or Green/Blue/Black, Only Blue, Only Black, etc...
All search criteria can be cleared by three different methods: Pressing the button on the main screen, pressing the Clear button on the Simple Search box, and by pressing the "Start Over" button on the Advance Search Box.
We have done our very best to make the database as accurate as possible; however, with over 25,000 cards mistakes will occur. If you find a mistake, please let email@example.com know and we will double-check it.
All prices are determined by scanning the Internet and taking the average of the prices found.
